Meriem Berrada designs and implements the various artistic projects of Fondation Alliances. Holder of a degree in cultural and artistic activities management (INSEEC Paris), Meriem Berrada initially integrated MnA communication Paris, a cultural communication agency working for clients from the worlds of fashion, antiquity, and contemporary art before joining the team of Marrakech Art Fair, the first contemporary art fair in Morocco. After moving to an auction house as a contemporary art director with the CMOOA (Compagnie Marocaine des Œuvres et Objets d’Art), she joined Fondation Alliances in 2012, at the time of repositioning for the organization.

In 2013, she created La Chambre Claire and in 2014, the Passerelles program, a cross-sponsorship initiative that coordinates the cultural and social poles of Fondation Alliances through workshops designed to raise awareness of contemporary creation in peripheral urban areas.

In 2016, she developed the project of the Museum of Contemporary African Art Al Maaden (MACAAL) in Marrakech.
